I've been looking for months to find an OTK boot that wasn't too high on the thigh, didn't have a platform or had a super high heel, as that look tends to scream stripper. I have the Frye tall Jane boot, but that boot is more on the casual side and it hits the middle of my knee - love them, but they're not dressy. This boot is not only like putting on a light pair of socks, it also goes on easily and comes off easily. The look is sexy in a sophisticated way, and adds a little "umph" to the higher heighth over the knee and the sleek taller heel. I found them to be true to size, but a little ankle sock should be worn because when I tried them on with bare feet, I could hear air escaping from the top of my foot of the boot when I walked making little squeak sounds, which sounded like foot toots, which is why I gave it a 4-star rating instead of 5. However, the ankle sock eliminated the sound and made them more comfortable anyway. Pretty boot. Got in both black and brown since they were a ridiculous sale price:)
